"IN HOT WATER" "In Hot Water" is a 2005 short film that opened in New York City and most recently was shown at the Garden State Film Festival. It begins as a serious "Italian family" connection and ends as a serious "Italian family" tradition. The movie is a satiric comedy challenging our society's current fixation with diets and the almost anti-drug atmosphere we have placed on the consumption of carbohydrates. A tasty treat...if one admits to indulge!!! "SKY KING" Set in 1946, "SKY KING" is the story of Vincenzo BonGiovanni, who has moved to Brooklyn, New York from Italy along with his parents and his grandmother. He struggles to meet his father's expectations and tries to adjust to American school life. He finds a friend in America thanks to his skills of model airplane building and a radio show called "SKY KING". Tamela D'Amico wrote this story for her father, it is a fictionalized version of his journey and experience here coming over after the war as a young immigrant from Italy. Simply put, it's a story about LOVE. The actors in alphabetical order: Ann Hampton Callaway, Tristan Carrasco, Federico Castelluccio, Meghan Cooley, Tommy Colavito, Bobby Costanzo, Tamela D'Amico, Markus Flanagan, Ryan Fox, Cornelia Guest, Hristo Ivanov, Christopher Kadish, Rob Macie, Ronnie Marmo, Ralf Mosig, Joe Ruffo, Liz Torres Expected release date is in September 2004.
